POST

POST
is a database that was created to track and manage all facets of editing
in an on-line editing environment. With this paperless system, you can
track everything during the edit process, from EDL and effects data, to
reel numbers, CG and still store information. You can easily look up information
on a job using the Find screen, making revisions easier than ever.
Click
on any of the screen shots for a full frame view.
As with
all TDS programs, there is both a PC and Mac version available. Click
here to download a FREE DEMO!
Master
information tracks the master number, tape format, tape title and date
the master was created. You can also create a master report specific to
that client, or create a segment time sheet for broadcast shows.

The Print
screen offers a variety of report options if you need a hard copy of any
information.
The
Reel Number screen has a series of check boxes that are checked
off as the numbers are used. Numbers are grouped by general tape content,
such as field tape, graphics, or OOH (out of house). There is also an
area to make any notes specific to reel numbers.

In the
LIST view, you can quickly see a list of all jobs in the system,
and sort by any of the columns.

History is
a nice feature that provides a place for general notes with a date &
time stamp, as well as a running history of revisions made to a job.
In
the FIND screen, you are provided with a simple entry screen that
you can use to type the information you seek. After pressing enter, you
are taken to the list view to see the results of your search.
In
the EDIT window, the editor can enter all of the effects information
into the appropriate fields. By clicking on the buttons in the Switcher
and DVE areas, you are taken to additional windows that allows you to
enter information for each specific effect.
The
CG screen allows you to track the page number and CG description
for several different CG systems, should your post department have more
than one to track.
